DH nearly finished

The Dining Hall construction is almost complete!.  The new date is tentatively Oct 1 and then we do a look over to see what needs to be repaired after the contractors are done.  We are expecting early October before we get the keys.  I have attached a new picture!

New Picture

As one wonders around the Dining Hall complex, you never know what you might see and say, what's that? 

This is the Booster Pump for the Fire Extinguishing system.  If the system goes off inside the DH and the sensor detect low water pressure, this contraption boosts the water pressure to help put the fire out.  We don't want to EVER see this thing work (unless it's being tested yearly of course)!

Updated Photos

Just returned from a Construction Meeting and WOW have things changed over three weeks.  The anticipated completion date is now September 30.  The outside paint is complete, the Kitchen Equipment will be delivered next week, the main water line is connected, the lights are all up inside and outside and they are connecting the fire suppression system.  See the pictures below!

The Dining Hall is coming along nicely.  So much happens and happens so quickly, we can't keep up with the pictures.  Look for new photos soon!

Kitchen Hood Picture

The Dining Hall is coming along nicely.  They are still on schedule even with the rain this week. It's very muddy but we will take the moisture!  The windows are all in, the Sheetrock is about 60 percent done, and the Heating and Air Conditioning is just about completely installed- wow- Central Air!!!

Dining Hall Siding

The siding is just about complete throughout the building.  The sheetrock installation is about halfway fininshed.  The windows are installed and they look great.  We are still on schedule to be finished in October pending weather and any changes.
